The Global Carbon Council (GCC), the Global South’s first internationally accredited carbon market program under ICAO’s CORSIA, and the State Secretariat for Climate Change of Misiones, Argentina (SECC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding at COP30 in Belém, Brazil. The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation on carbon market initiatives in Misiones, including capacity-building, integrating GCC standards, advisory support for the provincial Carbon Policy Framework, and other joint activities.
