The Global Carbon Council (GCC) and the Ministerio de Ambiente y Economía Circular de la Provincia de Córdoba (MAYEC) signed an MoU on the sidelines of COP30 to advance carbon market development, strengthen Córdoba’s climate policy frameworks, and support sustainable development. Signed by Dr. Yousef Alhorr and Minister Victoria Flores, the agreement focuses on capacity-building, integrating GCC standards into Córdoba’s domestic carbon market, and providing technical guidance for the province’s Article 6.2 Carbon Policy Framework. Both parties will collaborate through workshops, training, and stakeholder engagement to promote transparent, high-integrity carbon market practices and enhance Córdoba’s climate leadership.
