Global Carbon Council (GCC) has once again secured a prominent presence in the Blue Zone at the 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brazil, taking place from November 10 to 21, 2025. Our pavilion, the GCC Climate Action Hub, will serve as a dynamic center for knowledge sharing, engagement, and collaboration aimed at driving our shared goal of achieving a climate-resilient, low-carbon, and sustainable economy.
At COP30, GCC will strengthen global cooperation on carbon markets, fostering innovation and integrity to drive meaningful progress toward a net-zero future.

GCC’s Participation at COP30
With a delegation of 9 experts, GCC delivered a strong presence at COP30 through strategic partnerships, expert sessions, and active engagement on high-integrity carbon markets.
GCC formalized five MoUs with key partners in Argentina, Brazil, Burkina Faso, and India, enhancing cooperation on Article 6.2 readiness, national registry development, and high-integrity credit generation.
Across COP30, GCC delivered and contributed to 10+ sessions and workshops covering CMI, MRV, climate finance, Scope 3, nature-based solutions, hydrogen, CCS, and next-generation mitigation methodologies.
With 2000+ attendees and 50+ expert speakers involved across GCC engagements, COP30 provided a platform to advance transparent governance, credible methodologies, and scalable climate action.
